Introduction

Sport Inclusion Australia (SIA) is a National Sporting Organisation established in 1986 to assist the inclusion of people with an impairment, primarily an intellectual impairment, into the mainstream community using sport as the medium.

SIA is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information it collects, holds and administers.

We recognise the essential right of individuals to have their personal information administered in ways they would reasonably expect.

SIA collects and manages personal information in the course of performing its activities, functions and duties. The way in which SIA manages personal information is governed by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (as amended) and other relevant legislation.

This policy describes generally how any personal information SIA collects from you, or that you provide to SIA, will be held, used, processed or disclosed by SIA.
